Bringing Smiles to Westmead’s Children Hospital: We at TigerPak give back on International Tiger Day
To celebrate International Tiger Day on 29th July, TigerPak had the incredible honour of partnering with the Westmead Hospital Foundation for a heartfelt initiative that brought joy, connection, and care to families and children facing difficult times.
Rather than simply sending donations, we chose to personally deliver and hand out gift packs at The Hospital at Westmead. For us, giving back means more than writing a cheque—it’s about showing up, being present, and living out our values of care, community, and integrity.
Each gift pack featured comforting items, including our TigerPak plush toy, created to bring a bit of light and laughter to young patients and their families. We were proud to visit several departments—including the maternity ward, short stay units, children’s emergency, women and newborn health, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)—and to share a moment of connection in each one.
“We wanted to do more than just donate—we wanted to be there, to connect,” said Simone Magas, Marketing Director at TigerPak. “It was a privilege to meet the families and staff and to play a small part in brightening their day.”
In addition to the gift packs, we handed out sweet treats to hospital staff as a small way of saying thank you for the incredible care they give every day.
